The PAI Group’s operations conform with the Electricity at Work Act, which requires employers to ensure that electrical installations are carried out to BS 7671:2008 (IET Wiring Regulations) by competent persons.
Additionally, works relating to Fire Safety such as Alarms, Disabled Refuge and Voice Alarm require certification to BS 5839 Parts 1, 8 or 9.
Our current Technical Compliance certificate, valid until 5 November 2024, evidences that we have met the requirements of the ECA by satisfactorily demonstrating compliance with relevant technical standards in Electrical Installations within Commercial Buildings and Industrial Locations.
As registered members of the ECA (Electrical Contractors’ Association), we are regularly assessed to prove competence in Electrical Installation, Fire Safety Systems and Data Installations to BS EN 50173, BS EN 50174 and BS EN 50346.
Full testing and inspection of installations is carried out during commissioning, and certificates issued on completion.
All work carried out by The PAI Group of Companies is also covered by the ECA Guarantee of Work Scheme.
The Scheme provides the highest level of accountability and protection of any representative or qualifying body within the electrical installation industry.
Our clients are also covered by the ECA Bond, which indemnifies them against the risk of the additional cost of finishing the works should we for any reason become insolvent.
Ensuring installation safety and customer satisfaction, our clients are further protected by the ECA Warranty, with assurance that if the electrical installation work fails to comply with the relevant British Standards then it will be rectified in accordance with the Warranty’s terms and conditions.

The UK Government-backed Cyber Essentials certification scheme is an annual assessment of a company’s IT infrastructure, information security systems, and risk management.
The scheme follows five technical controls: boundary firewalls and internet gateways, secure configuration, access control, malware protection, patch management.
These controls closely marry those required by ISO/IEC 27001, the Standard of Good Practice for Information Security, and IASME Governance.
Our Cyber Essentials certification gives our clients additional peace of mind that our IT systems are robust, and that personal data, project details, and confidential information are secure from basic cyber attacks.
